Future Communications Workshop
Spectrum, Integrated Sensing & Comms (ISAC), Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) & Implementation Challenges
Spectrum, Integrated Sensing & Comms (ISAC), Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) & Implementation Challenges
Wednesday 19th August 2026
8:30am - 1:30pm
Macquarie University
New communications and sensing challenges are rapidly emerging. Uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) are finding widespread application, low earth orbit (LEO) satellite networks are growing exponentially, and the internet of things (IoT) is expanding across environmental sensing and precision agriculture applications.
This workshop will focus on how we can meet these developing challenges, from the demands on spectrum management and allocation, to the emergence of integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems and non-terrestrial networks (NTNs).
Organisers: Iain Collings, Hazer Inaltekin, Dali Kaafar and Annabelle McIver.
The workshop is free however the number of attendees is limited.
To secure your spot, register before Friday 31st July 2026.
