Class Schedule for our Fall 2024 & Spring 2025 Season will be released by July 20th, 2024.
Registration for all classes will be open online beginning on July 26th, 2024.
All Students will be charged a Non-Refundable Registration Fee
$20 Early Bird Registration (July 26th - August 10th, 2024)
$25 Regular Registration (August 11th - 24th, 2024)
$30 Late Registration (August 25th, 2024 - February 1st, 2025
Classes will begin on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024
Registration & Tuition
Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. I would suggest not waiting! If there are no openings in our classes, you will be put on a waiting list and called if there is an opening.
Payment is due monthly at your first class of every month and can be brought to the receptionist at the studio or mailed to: 309 N. Main St. Suite 1, Leon, IA 50144 (These must be received before the end of the first week of the month)
Late Fees: if payment is not made by the 2nd Friday of the month a $10 late fee will be charged, and an additional $10 fee for each additional month it is late. All outstanding fees must be made up at the end of the year. This will be strictly enforced.
Returned Checks will be charged a $25.00 NSF fee.
YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A MONTHLY BILL FOR TUITION- ONLY LATE NOTICES.
All Accounts can be checked on the parent portal.
Make checks payable to: Fusion Studios. The student’s name must be placed on all checks to ensure proper bookkeeping.
Debit or Credit Cards will be accepted for a $3.00 flat fee per transaction. Must be paid at the front desk.

September through April/ May year.
30 Minutes - $38/mo
45 Minutes - $48/mo
60 Minutes - $58/mo
1 HR & 15 Min - $68/mo
1 HR & 30 Min - $78/mo
1 HR & 45 Min - $88/mo
2 HRS - $98/mo
2 HRS & 15 Min - $108/mo
2 HRS & 30 Min - $118/mo
2 HRS & 45 Min - $128/mo
3 HRS OR MORE - $130 /mo
(tuition will be capped at $130/month for each student)
Communication:
We will use our website, email and our facebook page as our primary ways of communication throughout the season. Please be sure to provide us with the current email you are using on your registration form. Please be sure to let us know if you do not receive emails after a month of classes with us.
Performances:
We will host a final recital at a date to be determined. Tentative Recital Dates May 3-4th, 2024.
Competitive Schedules will be released Mid - End of September
*Be aware of changes due to needs of the students and teachers. Please know we will do our best to accommodate everyone involved and will do our best to reschedule classes if needed.
Missing a Class:
Make up classes due to student absences are not available. Tuition will not be refunded due to absences or illness. It is encouraged for parents to make an effort to have their student at their registered class on a regular basis. If absences become an extreme problem, the opportunity to participate in the recital may be taken away. Please communicate in advance if your child will not be attending class for whatever reason it may be.
Iowa Winter Weather:
Cancellations due to bad weather will be posted on the facebook page and website. Please check online if you think there is a threat of weather cancellations and please communicate with us if you plan to not have your child attend class if at all possible. We may not always follow any particular school schedule or calendar, so please check the facebook page for most current updates.
Class Placement: It is important to remember instructors will decide class placement only. When registering, we will discuss with you the experience level of your student but we will not go solely on age. As the year progresses, it is possible we may ask you to switch classes due to technique/ability levels as we grow in experience as well.
Class Descriptions
Ballet
Ballet is the foundation of dance. Skills learned will include terminology, balance, alignment, flexibility, and body placement.
Lyrical
Combination of lyrical, modern, improvisation and contemporary. This is a class for older students that have ballet training. Students will use dance movements in more creative ways to express emotions or stories.
Jazz
Students will learn the developmental skills of jazz dance, and will learn more intermediate skills, leaps, and turns as they progress through each level.
Tap
Students will learn basic terminology, steps and rhythms that will advance with each level.
Hip Hop
Students will learn hip hop basics and routines. Hip hop is a blend of street style movements as seen on music videos and tv.
Tumbling
Students will develop skills such as: flexibility, forward and backward rolls, straddle rolls, cartwheels, headstands, back bends, handstands, round offs, limbers, walkovers, handsprings, running tumbling as well as more advanced skills such as tucks
Acro Dance
This is a class offered to competition dancers to improve their tricks and skills for competition routines.
Cheer
Basic Cheer Motions, jumps and lower level ground stunts will be learned skills during Cheer. *Subject to change due to level of students taking class.
Tumble 1
Students will learn basic tumbling skills such and flexibility. They will learn movements leading up to skills as well as forward and backward rolls and cartwheels.
Tumble 2
Students will learn basic tumbling skills such and flexibility. They will master skills from level 1 and add round offs, and begin limbering skills.
Tumble 3
Students will continue limbering skills and work though levels towards back hand springs.
Tumble 4/5
Skill development build from back handspring and up.
What to wear:
All Classes: No jeans, street shoes, hair must be off of shoulders and out of face.
Tap- Comfortable dance clothes, low-heeled tap shoes
Ballet-leotard, tights, ballet shoes w/elastic strap
Jazz- tight fitting dance top or leotard, tights or tight fitting pants, no t-shirts or loose fitting clothing. No running shorts. Tan jazz shoes.
Intro to Dance- tight fitting dance top or leotard, tights or tight fitting pants, no t-shirts or loose fitting clothing. No running shorts. Tan jazz shoes.
Tumbling- Comfortable clothing, no loose shirts or bottoms. Leggings or shorts accepted. These students will either be barefoot or a rubber sole trampoline shoe. No street shoes are allowed on the mats. Hair will be required to be up!
Competition Dynamite Team MUST purchase trampoline shoes
The dress code will be enforced. If a student repeatedly ignores the dress code, they will be asked to not participate in class. This is to help ensure their safety on the dance and tumbling floor.
