Fusion 2025

Fusion 2025 is an exhibition expanding on the legacy of the original 2015 show Fusion: Where Two Minds Collide. The 2025 exhibition was a huge success and submissions were welcomed from Bath Spa University (BSU) students, alumni, staff, and people taking part in the EMERGE Residency Programme. In total, 44 artists took part in the show and 111 pieces of work were installed in the Central Gallery at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath.

The exhibition showcased a wide range of work including paintings, prints, textiles, and ceramics. All work was for sale with one third payable to the RUH; helping to improve the healing environment for everyone who uses the hospital.

The exhibition was organised and presented by Elizabeth Royle, a BSU Placement Year student, as part of her work placement with Art at the Heart (AATH) of the RUH. Fusion 2025 was just one element of her placement, with others including participatory workshops with patients on wards. Elizabeth has produced a catalogue of the show to go alongside the work included. This can be viewed as a PDF below.
