About Me

Hi, I’m Katrina, the face behind Fur & Whiskers Pet Care. I’m an experienced pet owner and lifelong animal lover who understands how important it is for pets to feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable in their own home while you’re away.

I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have shared my life with just about every kind of pet imaginable — including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, chickens, ducks, goats, and even horses.

Originally from the UK, I’ve been proud to call New Zealand home since 2018. These days, my home is happily shared with two giant Continental rabbits, two smaller rescue rabbits we fostered (and of course adopted!) through Raining Rabbits Rescue - one of them a little wildie - two guinea pigs from Auckland Cavy Care and a our gorgeous cat Belle. 

Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and caring for them truly brings me so much joy.
