Theres helpful ways to make the grooming process faster, cheaper & more comfortable for your pet.
Keeping up with brushing can reduce matting. Matting can become time consuming, especially in severe cases. Some pets become resistant due to pain when trying to remove them by brushing or by shaving them down. If you struggle with brushing, it'll help to schedule your pets every 4-6 weeks.
Your pet may have sensitive areas they refuse to let you touch. Common areas include their ears, feet, mouth, and head. Touching these spots regularly can help desensitize them to handling these areas.
-using a tooth brush with toothpaste
- brushing them regularly
- using a dermal or regular nail clippers on their nails
- allowing them to feel the vibration and hear the sound of hair clippers
-giving them occasional baths & using a hair dryer
Don't forget to praise them with treats! You want your fur baby to know they are doing a wonderful job.
