About Us
The "Fur-Friends of Auburn" is a registered non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Our main goal is to work with town officials and community members to maintain a beautiful, fenced-in, off-leash dog park where well-behaved canine citizens can exercise and interact safely.
In addition to fundraising for this project, our group hopes to:
Work with town officials to establish rules, regulations, and requirements for park use.
Maintain the dog park as a safe, clean environment.
Hold events to educate the community on dog behavior, safety, training, etc.
Fundraise for necessary waste disposal supplies, agility, speed training equipment/obstacles, etc. not covered by Stanton Grants.
Work with local animal shelters to raise funds, hold adoption/safety/awareness events at the park once built.
Donate to Auburn Resident(s) who may require service/therapy dog assistance.
Donate supplies to local non-profit animal shelters.
