I thinks it's a beautiful story book for children, very informative on the environment, whilst encouraging our children to take care of it. The book speaks of the first National Hero in Jamaica (eloquently), none other than Marcus Garvey his self in the form of Grampa Tom instilling knowledge in his beautiful granddaughter, also referencing the Tainos people of that land of wonder and shared beauty (Jamaica) in times gone by. I like the way Shari was curious and keen to learn. It's a fantastic piece of writing that should be in libraries that caters for children, be it in the schooling system (primary/Secondary level) and or others. I love it.
