Mel never left us guessing how our child is doing. Location: Facility is located in a very safe neighbourhood, across from a park on a quiet street, yet it is close proximity to the main roads. Mel’s setup is on the main level for learn, play and sleep. Healthy homemade lunch and snacks are served in the kitchen. Structure : Mel is a certified early childhood educator. Based on the pace of our child’s development, we can attest to that. At 19 months of age, our child can comprehend & formulate full sentences. Our child feels safe and secured, we can tell so because we can see the smile on his face when we pick him up. Recommendation: Our child has been under Mel’s care since he was 12 months of age. Thank you Mel, we appreciate you."

Melanie is a kind, warm, attentive caregiver who clearly loves what she does, and it shows. Our son is always happy to go to Melanie’s house in the morning. His days are filled with reading, doing crafts, singing, puzzles, going for walks, and playing with his little friends. The environment is bright, clean and incredibly organized with a wonderful variety of toys and educational materials. Melanie also serves healthy and delicious well balanced meals/snacks. We consider ourselves lucky to have found such an amazing place- thank you Melanie!!"

She made the transition to daycare very easy and comforting for both our baby and us. Her daycare is conveniently located near Kanata North IT park making it easily accessible for parents working in the area. Her daycare setup is on the main floor with lots of natural light and she has many toys for kids to explore. Melanie has been very kind, caring and supportive in her care. She is very organized, plans out the day very well with lots of creative activities and outdoor time. She has set up a good routine for all the kids which helped our son with his nap and his night time sleep. In just a few months we noticed that our son has become more social and loves meeting new people and playing with other kids. She makes sure to keep parents updated with text messages and pictures. We are incredibly grateful to have her as our son’s daycare provider and would highly recommend her."

The daycare is located on the main floor with large windows and natural light. The space is warm and inviting with lots of toys to explore. Melanie was patient, kind and supportive while our daughter transitioned to daycare. Melanie regularly communicates and updates us which provides comfort and piece of mind. We receive crafts and pictures on a regular basis. Melanie celebrates special occasions and spends lots of time outdoors as well. Our daughter is always happy and excited to be with her friends at daycare. We are very happy and feel confident our daughter is well cared for while at daycare. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found such a warm, caring daycare provider for our daughter!"

Melanie is a very caring and warm person, and is absolutely wonderful with our son and the other children in her group. Her home is located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood in Kanata North. The daycare space in her home is bright and cozy, very well organized (lots of different learning toys, books, etc.) and especially clean. Melanie keeps them busy with story time, arts and crafts, singalongs and dancing, and also feeds them delicious and healthy meals and snacks. Upon drop off and pick up, my son ALWAYS has a big smile on his face! Melanie has been nothing but amazing which has helped me transition back into my work life immensely (first time mom over here!). Thank you Melanie!"

She plans for some very creative activities on a daily basis and the children come home so pleased with their new art work. She is very warm and caring in nature and it can easily be noticed when dropping off or picking up your little one. You also get a huge bonus on seeing what your child is up to with pictures she sends you and it's an incredibly comforting feeling to know how well they are doing and coping.
