Congratulations to Miguel and Noé for their paper with Kausik Ghosh! They explored the constraints coming from a single crossing equation in the context of 1CFTs and created new methods to bootstrap solutions that saturate bounds.

Congratulations to António on his paper! With Nat Levine and Marco Meineri, António considered QFTs in AdS_2 that contain conserved higher-spin charges, with the hope of understanding integrable QFTs in AdS_2. They ended up proving that there are no non-trivial deformations of free theories and CFTs preserving these charges.

Congratulations to António on his paper! Following up on work with Connor Behan, António gave evidence for irrationality of IR fixed points of coupled 2d minimal models, taking into account the rich UV chiral symmetry and its interplay with a global permutation symmetry.

Congratulations to Julius on his paper with Andrea Cavaglià, Nikolay Gromov, Michelangelo Preti and Nika Sergeevna Sokolova! In this paper, Julius and friends extended the bootstrability approach to study a mixed-correlator system in the one-dimensional defect superconformal field theory living on the supersymmetric Wilson line in N=4 Super-Yang-Mills thoery. Their results include new sharp non-perturbative bounds on three-point structure constants involving superprimaries of long multiplets at finite values of the 't Hooft coupling.

Talk at GGI
Miguel recently attended the GGI workshop "Bootstrapping Nature", where he give a talk about work in progress with Nat Levine (post-doc at ENS). They are applying modern analytic bootstrap tools to the question of expressing bulk operators in terms of boundary CFT data in holographic contexts, an old problem that goes back almost to the beginning of AdS/CFT. The paper is in the works, but in the meantime you can have a look at the video here.

So it begins...
Today marks the beginning of the "FunBootS" project, funded by call ERC-CoG-21. The goal of this webpage is to describe the aims of the project, the research team, and the latest research developments.
