Guide

Fun2Booth is full of features and settings that can be customized to give you the perfect photo booth experience. This guide will help explain the features of the application.

Getting Started

Install Fun2Booth from the Google Play Store. Once installed, make sure to allow Fun2Booth to access files on your device, so it can save photos to your device and upload photos as backgrounds. Also allow it to use the camera to take pictures.

Start Screen

When the app starts, the start screen will actively show the camera. The start screen has four buttons: Options, Switch Camera, Collect Tickets and Start.

Options Button

The Options Button is located at the top left of the start screen. It will direct you to the options menu. In the options menu you will be able to change things such as the background, titles, and layout.

Switch Cameras Button

The switch camera button will cycle through all cameras on your device, until you find the camera you wish to use.

Collect Tickets Button

The collect tickets button will direct you to the ticket menu, where you will be able to purchase more tickets, or watch an advertisement to obtain a ticket. Tickets are then redeemed to remove watermarks from your final photo.

Start Button

The Start Button will begin the live photo shoot session. Based on the layout you have selected it will take anywhere between 1-4 photos.

Options Menu

The Options Menu is where you can customize your photo booth experience. You can do so by making a main title and sub title, change the background image and color, etc. Here is a description of each setting.

Main Title

The main title will be displayed on your layout. This is a great place to put the name of your event (i.e. "Andy & Carol's Wedding") If left blank, no text will be shown.

Sub Title

Just like the main title, this text will be displayed on your photo. Think of something creative like a special message to your guests, or maybe the date of your wedding.

Layout Selectors

The blue left and right buttons will let you cycle through different layout styles. Each layout is unique and can have between 1-4 photos using different aspect ratios for each photo session.

Background Selectors

The green left and right buttons will let you cycle through different backgrounds.

There is also a color selector that will allow you to overlay a color on top of the background. This feature is great if your event has a specific color you want to match. Simply drag the Fun2Booth icon to the color you desire. Press 'Reset' if you would like to reset to white, or the back button once you have selected the color you want.

There are also five "Import Your Own" photo backgrounds. This will let you navigate photos on your device and import them as a background. This feature is great if you want to design your own background and use it for your party or event.

Font

Select a font type from a drop-down list of custom font types. You can also change the color of the font by either selecting a gradient button (just to the right of the font drop down) or by clicking the color selector button (to the right of the gradient button)

Countdown Time

The countdown time is the amount of time guests will have between photos. If you want more time to let guests change out props, or less time to make the photo booth more efficient, it's completely up to you.

Mirror Camera

By default, if a camera is front facing the image is typically mirrored so that the guest feels like they are looking into a mirror when taking a picture. If you don't like this feature, you have the ability to turn it off.

Save to Device

When checked, this checkbox will automatically save the final photo to your device after the photo session is complete. By default, it is checked, but if you are running low on memory, or don't need to save all of the photos, you can uncheck it. If unchecked, there is also an option to save to device from the share menu, once the photo session is completed.

Auto-Return to Start Screen

Once a photo shoot is completed; guests will be able to share their photo via email. Once an email is sent, if this checkbox is checked, the application will redirect to the start screen after 10 seconds. Guests will have the option to select 'Cancel' and send the image to another email to stop the countdown of the return to start screen.

Party Mode

Party mode is perfect for occasions where you might not want guests to be able to change your options, for example a wedding. If you check this checkbox, guests will not be able to change the options for your photo. The only button that will appear on the start screen is the 'Start' button.

Use Tickets

When checked, this setting will automatically apply any tickets you have to the next photo shoot you take. If you want to test out a background or layout without using a ticket, uncheck this check box for the time being. However, keep in mind the watermark will appear when a ticket hasn't been used.

Share Menu

The Share Menu allows you to share your photo via e-mail. Simply enter your email in the text box and press 'Send'. Once the email is sent, if you have selected the 'Auto-Return to Start Menu' option, there will be a count down on the right side of your photo, with an option to cancel. If you don't have that option selected, use the back arrow button to return to the 'Start Screen'.

Collect Tickets Menu

The Collect Tickets menu will allow you to purchase tickets. Tickets are required to remove the watermark from your final photo. Each photo session will use one ticket from your balance. In the event you run out of tickets, a watermark will appear on your final photo.

If you want to test out your photo shoot and not use up your tickets, you can uncheck "Use Tickets" in the options menu. But remember, the watermark will appear on your final photo until you re-check "Use Tickets" in the options menu.
