Fun2Booth is a highly customizable photo booth app. This guide will help you set up the perfect experience for your event.

1. Getting Started

Download: Available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Permissions: For the app to work correctly, you must allow access to:
- Camera: To take the photos.
- Files/Storage: To save photos to your gallery and upload custom backgrounds.
Printing: For physical prints, please refer to the Printing Guide.

2. The Start Screen

When you open the app, you will see a live camera view with four main options:

Settings (Gear Icon): Customize your layout, titles, and backgrounds.
Switch Camera: Cycle through your device’s front and rear cameras.
Collect Tickets: Purchase or earn tickets to remove watermarks from your photos.
Start: Begin a photo session (takes 1–4 photos depending on your chosen layout).

3. Customizing Your Photos (Settings Menu)

This is where you design the "look" of your photo strips.

Text & Visuals

Main Title & Subtitle: Add text to your photos (e.g., "The Smith Wedding" and the date). Leave blank if you don't want text.
Layout Selector (Blue Buttons): Choose how many photos are taken (1–4), the aspect ratio and how they are arranged.
Background Selector (Green Buttons): * Choose from pre-set backgrounds.
- Color Overlay: Use the color picker to tint backgrounds to match your event’s theme.
- Import Your Own: Use the three "Import" slots to upload your own custom designs from your device.
Font & Color: Change the text style and color using the dropdown menu and color/gradient buttons.

Camera & Timing

Countdown Time: Adjust the delay between shots to give guests time to change props.
Mirror Camera: Enabled by default for front cameras (makes it feel like a mirror). Turn this off if you want the image saved exactly as the camera sees it.

4. Saving & Sharing Settings

Save to Device: Automatically saves the final image to your gallery.
Auto-Return: Automatically goes back to the Start Screen 10 seconds after a photo is sent, keeping the booth ready for the next guest.
Skip Share Menu: Use this if you only want to save/print photos and don’t want guests to see the email options.
Auto-Share to Email: Ideal for event hosts. The app will automatically send every photo to your email address so you can manage printing or social media from a separate computer.
No Email Input: Disables the keyboard for guests; they can view the photo but cannot type in their own email address.

5. Tickets & "Party Mode"

Understanding Tickets

Watermarks: To remove the "Fun2Booth" watermark, you must use a ticket. One ticket = one photo session.
Auto-Use Tickets: When turned on, the app automatically spends a ticket to remove the watermark. Turn this off while testing your setup so you don't waste tickets.

Party Mode (Security)

Enable this for actual events. It hides the Settings and Ticket buttons, leaving only the "Start" button visible. This prevents guests from accidentally changing your layout or backgrounds.

6. The Share Menu

After the photos are taken, guests can enter their email address to receive a digital copy. If Auto-Return is on, a countdown will appear; guests can hit 'Cancel' if they want to send the photo to a second email address.

6.Purchase Tickets Menu

The purchase tickets menu will allow you to purchase tickets viz Android or iOS app stores. Tickets are required to remove the watermark from your final photo. Each photo session will use one ticket from your balance. In the event you run out of tickets, a watermark will appear on your final photo.

If you want to test out your photo shoot and not use up your tickets, you can uncheck "Use Tickets" in the settings menu. But remember, the watermark will appear on your final photo until you re-check "Use Tickets" in the settings menu.
