Conveniences that are accidentally plant-based, and other tricks:
Most canned biscuits and most packaged breads
Peanut butter
Fritos (and most chips)
Oreos (and many other cookies)
Marinara sauce
Guacamole
Nutritional yeast (found in the baking aisle) adds a cheesy flavor to other foods.
Capers add the type of bite in a salad that a sharp cheese does.
Egg substitutes for baking or sauces: 1 tbsp flax meal or corn starch in 3 tbsp water.
Plant-based mayo, soups, butter, egg, cheese, dairy and meat alternatives can be found in most supermarkets.
