FUMCR signed a contract with Longhorn Solar Energy to install solar panels on the roof of Bartula Family Life Center (the gym). Panel installation is expected to be completed this Fall. See UMC Solar Projects for the latest about the panels.

In 2024 we donated 2768 lbs. of fresh produce to the food pantry at Network of Community Ministries.
NTREG members include professional engineers, hobbyists, environmental activists and curious folks who want to know about renewable energy. They can answer your questions about solar panels, batteries, and much more.

Color, wire up a light, experiment with static electricity, and recycle your broken crayons.
We are collecting old, used, wrapped or unwrapped, or broken crayons that your family no longer wants to keep. We'll ship them to the National Crayon Recycle Program to make into new crayons!
