FUMCR signed a contract with Longhorn Solar Energy to install solar panels on the roof of Bartula Family Life Center (the gym). Panel installation is expected to be completed this Fall. See UMC Solar Projects for the latest about the panels.
The Green Team has recycling containers for used crayons and batteries on the counter near the Welcome Desk. Join the Green Team and do even more to care for God's creation.

Color, wire up a light, experiment with static electricity, and recycle your broken crayons.
We are collecting old, used, wrapped or unwrapped, or broken crayons that your family no longer wants to keep. We'll ship them to the National Crayon Recycle Program to make into new crayons!
