Effective Date: 15 October 2026
Introduction Welcome to Fumblers (the “Service”). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have, including how to delete your data. By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
2.1 Account and Contact Information
Account identifiers (User ID): your Meta account ID and a game account ID created for you by our backend provider (PlayFab).
User profile: the display name shown to other players, and your avatar and cosmetic choices.
Contact information: your email address and anything else you send us if you contact us.
2.2 Usage and Device Data
Gameplay data: game progress, scores, in-game currency, cosmetics, and in-game purchases (item and price).
Invites and rooms: the rooms you create or join, room codes, and invites you send or accept, including which Meta friends you invite.
Device information: device type, operating system, game version, unique device identifiers, and IP address.
Log information: sign-in times, the game sessions you join, and the features you use.
Security and anti-cheat data: checks that your copy of the game is genuine and unmodified, and records of suspected cheating (for example movement that isn’t possible in normal play).
2.3 Voice Chat and Voice Moderation
Voice chat: when your microphone is on, your voice is sent live to the other players in your room. We do not record or store voice chat in normal play.
Automatic voice check: to protect players from hate speech and threats, the game checks your own microphone for slurs and threats while you are in a room with other players. This check runs on your own headset, and your audio does not leave your device for it. If a slur or threat is detected, the last few seconds (about 8 seconds) of your speech are sent to our moderation system.
Player reports: if another player reports you for a voice-related reason, the last few seconds of your speech that they heard are sent with the report.
How clips are used: clips are automatically transcribed and checked for slurs and threats. If confirmed, they may lead to a voice chat ban or an account ban. Our moderators may review clips that were flagged.
Turning it off: muting your microphone stops both voice chat and the automatic voice check.
2.4 Reports and Moderation Records When you report another player, or another player reports you, we keep the report: who reported whom, the reason, and when. We also keep the decisions we make, such as bans, voice chat bans, and name resets.
How We Use Your Information
Providing the Service: to run matchmaking, rooms, invites, voice chat, your progress, and purchases.
Safety and moderation: to handle player reports, detect hate speech, threats and cheating, and enforce our rules with bans, voice chat bans and name resets.
Security: to protect the Service and its players from cheating, fraud and abuse.
Analytics and improvement: to understand how the Service is used and to fix problems.
Communication: to reply to messages you send us.
Where privacy laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we process your information because we need it to provide the Service to you, and for our legitimate interests in keeping the Service safe, fair and working well. Where the law requires your consent, we rely on that consent.
Disclosure of Your Information We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
Service providers who help us run the Service (see Section 8).
Other players: your display name, your avatar, and your voice while your microphone is on are visible or audible to players in your room.
Legal requirements: when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our players and the Service.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
Data Retention
Voice clips are deleted from our moderation system within 3 days. Clips that were not flagged are deleted as soon as they have been checked. Flagged clips and their transcripts are kept with the moderation case.
Reports and moderation decisions are kept for as long as they are needed to enforce our rules, and for at least 90 days.
Account and gameplay data are kept while your account is active, or until you ask us to delete it (see Section 6).
Deleting Your Data You can ask us to delete your data at any time. This right is available to every player, in every country and region, and it is free.
How to request deletion:
Email yestermilli@gmail.com from any address.
Use the subject line “Delete my Fumblers data”.
Include your in-game display name (and, if you can, your Meta username) so we can find your account. If you cannot tell us your display name, tell us roughly when you played and we will work it out with you.
We may ask you to confirm the request so that nobody can delete your account but you.
What happens next: we confirm that we received your request within 7 days. We delete your data within 30 days of confirming it is you, and we email you when it is done.
What we delete:
Your game account and PlayFab profile, including display name, progress, scores, in-game currency, cosmetics and inventory.
Your invite, room and sign-in history, device identifiers, and the contact details you sent us.
Any voice clips or transcripts we still hold from you.
What we may keep:
Reports, and the bans and moderation decisions made about you, may be kept for as long as needed to keep other players safe and stop banned players from returning, and where the law requires us to keep them. We keep only what is needed for this, and delete it when it is no longer needed.
Records of purchases that we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons. Meta keeps its own purchase records under Meta’s policies.
Please note:
Deleting your data is permanent. Your progress, currency, cosmetics and purchased items cannot be restored afterwards, and we cannot refund items that were deleted at your request.
Data held by Meta, Epic Games, Microsoft, Cloudflare and Discord under their own policies is managed by them. You can ask them directly as well (see Section 8).
You can also stop new data being collected at any time by uninstalling the game and by muting your microphone.
Data Security We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
Third-Party Services The Service uses these providers, and each has its own privacy policy:
PlayFab (Microsoft): accounts, player data and backend services.
Meta: sign-in, friends and invites, purchases, and checks that your copy of the game is genuine.
Epic Online Services: online connections between players.
Cloudflare: our moderation and logging server, and automatic transcription of voice clips.
Discord: our moderators review reports, moderation cases and flagged voice clips there.
Some of these providers may process your data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer.
Children’s Privacy Fumblers is intended for users who meet Meta’s minimum age for Meta Quest. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the minimum age in your country, without parental consent where the law requires it. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights Wherever you live, you can ask us to delete your data (see Section 6). Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Object to or restrict how we process your data.
Port your data to another service.
Complain to your local data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email us at the address below. It is free, and we reply within 30 days.
Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the revised policy.
