How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
If you want a warm, cold-weather headband that doubles as a Bluetooth beanie for winter walks, commutes and bedtime listening, choose Fulext Sleep Headphones; if you need a breathable cotton sleep-and-sport headband with thin speakers built for side sleepers and sweaty workouts, choose LC-dolida Sleep Headphones.
• Fulext Sleep Headphones — biggest strength: a stretchy acrylic knit that works as actual ear warmers in cold weather, with a claimed 33-foot Bluetooth range and a 2-year warranty.
• Fulext Sleep Headphones — biggest trade-off: it's a winter knit first, so it's warmer and bulkier than a pure sleep band, and there's no stated battery-life figure or washability detail in the specs.
• LC-dolida Sleep Headphones — biggest strength: a 3-in-1 cotton-blend band (sleep headphones + sleep mask + sport headband) with Bluetooth 5.2, 0.25-inch thin speakers, 10 hours of playback from a 1.5-hour charge, and a removable, washable design.
• LC-dolida Sleep Headphones — biggest trade-off: its one-year warranty is shorter than Fulext's, and the cotton fabric isn't built for keeping your ears warm in freezing weather.
• Who Fulext is for: cold-weather listeners, commuters, campers and gift shoppers who want warmth plus audio.
• Who LC-dolida is for: side sleepers, hot sleepers, gym-goers and travelers who want a thin, breathable, washable band.
The Fulext Sleep Headphones are a Bluetooth beanie headband first and a sleep gadget second. The shell is 100% acrylic knit, and the whole pitch is warmth: pull it down over your ears and the fabric blocks wind and holds heat through winter, spring and autumn. If numb, frozen ears are the thing that ruins your morning walk or your camping trip, that design choice is the point.
The specs back up the "wear it anywhere" idea. Fulext claims a 33-foot Bluetooth range with forward/backward compatibility across smartphones, tablets, iPhones, iPads, Android devices, laptops and PCs, plus hands-free calling and audiobook/TV audio. It's one-size-fits-all by way of stretchy knit, so it's meant to sit on most head shapes without fiddling. It also folds flat, which is why it's framed as a stocking-stuffer or holiday gift for just about anyone on your list. Fulext backs it with a 2-year warranty and friendly support.
LC-dolida Sleep Headphones: Who It's For
The LC-dolida Sleep Headphones attack the problem from the opposite direction. It's a 3-in-1 band: sleep headphones, Bluetooth sleep mask and sport headband in one piece of soft cotton-blend fabric. The cotton is chosen for breathability and quick drying, which is why LC-dolida positions it as comfortable after a sweaty workout as well as in bed. The Bohemian-style band in Boho Blue is meant to be worn against your skin for hours.
The hardware is where the sleep focus shows. Bluetooth 5.2 handles the connection to phones, tablets, laptops and PCs, and the speakers are just 0.25 inches thin — thin enough that LC-dolida calls it the pick for side sleepers. The claimed battery story is specific: about 1.5 hours to charge, roughly 10 hours of talk or music playback, which covers a marathon, a hike, a long flight or a full night plus a wake-up podcast. The electronics are removable so the fabric can be washed, which is a real advantage for anything you sweat in or wear nightly. Sound is described as high-fidelity stereo from a dynamic driver with a 20 Hz–20 kHz range.
The trade-offs are real too. It's a one-year warranty, not two. There's no ear-warming function — cotton won't block winter wind. And while it's built for light blockout at home, in a hotel or on a plane, it's a soft band rather than a structured sleep mask, so it won't match a molded eye mask for total blackout. Buy it if you're a side sleeper, a hot sleeper, a gym regular or a frequent traveler who wants thin speakers, a washable band and a known battery figure. Skip it if you need actual ear warmth or the longer warranty.
• Best for cold weather and ear warmth → Fulext Sleep Headphones. The acrylic knit is the whole reason it exists.
• Best for side sleeping → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. The 0.25-inch thin speakers are designed around lying on your side.
• Best for battery certainty → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. It states roughly 10 hours of playback from a 1.5-hour charge; Fulext doesn't publish a figure.
• Best for workouts and sweat → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. Cotton-blend, breathable, quick-drying fabric with removable, washable electronics.
• Best for Bluetooth specifics → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. Bluetooth 5.2 is the newer, more stable standard here, versus Fulext's unspecified version with 33-foot range.
• Best for warranty length → Fulext Sleep Headphones. Two years versus LC-dolida's one year.
• Best for gifting and travel packing → Fulext Sleep Headphones. One-size stretch knit that folds flat and reads as a normal winter accessory.
• Best for wearing all night, every night → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. Purpose-built for sleep, with washability and a sleep-mask role.
If I had to pick one, I'd buy the LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. In my opinion, it's the more complete sleep product: thin side-sleeper-friendly speakers, Bluetooth 5.2, a stated 10-hour battery, washable fabric and a genuine 3-in-1 design that covers sleep, travel and exercise. The Fulext is the better buy only if warmth is your priority — it's a winter beanie that happens to play music, and for that specific job it's excellent. Everyone else gets more usable nights out of the LC-dolida.
LC-dolida. Its 0.25-inch thin speakers are specifically designed so side sleepers can lie on their ear without a hard lump, and the soft cotton-blend band is made to be worn against the skin overnight. Fulext is a knit headband with no thin-speaker sleep design.
Do the LC-dolida sleep headphones need charging every night?
LC-dolida's electronics are removable so the fabric can be washed, which matters for a band you sweat in or wear nightly. Fulext's specs don't state a washability claim for its acrylic knit, so treat it more carefully.
That depends on your use case, not just the number. If you want winter warmth, a 33-foot range and a 2-year warranty, Fulext fits better. If you want side-sleeper speakers, Bluetooth 5.2, a stated 10-hour battery and a washable 3-in-1 band, LC-dolida does more for the money. Check the current price on Amazon for each before deciding.
