Postdoctoral Fellow
Term: Up to 3-4 years (annual renewal; extension contingent upon productivity and funding)
Location: Twin Cities Campus (Minneapolis, MN)
Job Description:
The postdoctoral fellow will lead one or more projects involving neurophysiology, neuroimaging, and neuromodulation in non-human primates. Current research topics include:
Neurobiology of decision-making and interoception
Neurobiology of addictive disorders and their treatment
Behavioral and neural pharmacology
Eligibility Requirements:
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative postdoc for long-term projects. Applicants must be able to work effectively with international and multidisciplinary teams. A PhD in neuroscience or a related field, or an MD, is required. Visa sponsorship (J-1) is available for international applicants.
Highly desired: At least one peer-reviewed first-author publication (or preprint), programming skills (e.g., MATLAB), and extensive experience with animal models, including single-unit recordings and viral tools.
Preferred: Experience with behavioral training, electrophysiology, surgery, neuroimaging (fMRI, PET), immunohistochemistry, or computational analysis.

Job Description:
Assist with animal (non-human primate) experiments in neurophysiology, including surgery, behavioral training, functional MRI, chemical preparation, and data analysis.
Manage general lab operations, including ordering supplies, record keeping, and research coordination.
Eligibility Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree is required. Remote work is generally not permitted. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
