Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the FugoFresh app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Rajibul (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use The Application collects information when you download and use it. This includes:

Personal Data: Name, email address, age, gender, height, and weight (used to calculate BMI and health metrics).
Health & Fitness Data: Daily step count, water intake logs, and nutritional information from recipes you scan.
Device Info: IP address, operating system version, and device model.

2. Physical Activity & Health Permissions This Application uses the

ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION and FOREGROUND_SERVICE permissions to track your steps in the background.

Why we need it: To provide accurate daily step counts even when your phone is in your pocket and the app is closed.
Data Usage: Step data is stored locally and in your secure profile to show your progress over time. It is NOT sold to third parties or used for advertising.

3. Camera Usage The Application uses your device's camera to scan food ingredients.

Why we need it: So you can take photos of food items, which our AI analyzes to suggest recipes and nutritional facts.
Data Usage: Images are processed temporarily to identify ingredients and are not permanently stored on our servers unless you save the resulting recipe.

4. Third Party Access We transmit data to trusted third-party services to maintain app functionality and improve our service.

Google Play Services & Firebase: For analytics, crash reporting, and authentication.
Supabase: For securely storing your user profile and recipe data.
Google Gemini / AI Services: For processing recipe images and generating nutritional info.

5. Data Retention & Deletion We retain your data only as long as you use the Application. You have full control over your data.

How to Delete Your Account & Data:

In-App: Go to Settings > Profile > Delete Account. This will permanently erase your account, login credentials, and all health logs immediately.
Via Email: If you cannot access the app, email
rejinabibi12345678@gmail.com with the subject "Request Account Deletion". We will process this within 7 days.

6. Children’s Privacy The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover such data, it will be deleted immediately. Use of the app is restricted to users who can legally content to data collection.

7. Security We implement industry-standard security measures (encryption) to protect your personal and health information stored in our database.

8. Changes to This Policy We may update this policy. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Application deemed approval of all changes.
