Privacy Policy: Fuel & Trip Cost Tracker
Effective date: October 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Android app Fuel & Trip Cost Tracker (the “App”), published by [Super Intel] (“we”, “us”), handles information.
In short: the trips, vehicles and settings you enter stay on your device. We do not run any servers, we have no user accounts, and we never see your data. The App shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google collects some device information to provide those ads, as described below.
1. Information you enter in the App
The App lets you record trip details: distance, fuel price, fuel efficiency, trip cost, date, an optional note, and vehicle names. It also saves your preferences (units, currency symbol, theme, last fuel price used). This information is stored only on your device, in the App’s private storage. It is not sent to us or to any server we operate. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows banner and full-screen (interstitial) ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and process:
your device’s advertising ID and other device identifiers;
your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
ad interactions and diagnostic data.
This information is collected and used by Google under its own policies. We do not receive information that identifies you personally. See the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services” (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
3. Your consent and ad choices
EEA, UK and Switzerland: when you first open the App, a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform asks whether you agree to personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy options. If you do not consent, you may still see non-personalised or limited ads.
Everyone: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads).
U.S. state privacy laws: where applicable, you can opt out of ad personalisation through the device settings above. We do not sell your personal information for money.
4. Exporting your data
If you use “Export CSV”, the App creates a file with your trips and opens Android’s share sheet. The file goes only to the app or person you choose. After that, the policies of the app you chose apply.
5. Device backups
If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include the App’s data in your personal device backup so it can be restored on a new phone. Google handles this backup under your Google account settings, and we cannot access it. You can turn it off in your device’s backup settings.
6. Permissions
The App uses the Internet and network-state permissions only so ads can load. It does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete trips or vehicles in the App. To delete everything, clear the App’s storage (Settings → Apps → Fuel & Trip Cost Tracker → Storage → Clear data) or uninstall the App. Because we never receive your trip data, we have no copy to delete.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or U.S. state laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to processing. Your trip data is fully under your control on your device. For data processed by Google for ads, use Google’s privacy tools, or contact us.
9. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us.
10. Security
Your data is stored in the App’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. Communication with Google’s ad services is encrypted by Google’s SDK. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we keep data collection to a minimum.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the effective date at the top.
