1. Information Collection and Use
Our application, [PdfScanner], is designed to help you scan and manage documents.
Camera & Storage Access: We require access to your device’s camera to capture documents and storage access to save the generated PDF/image files on your device.
Local Processing: By default, all document scanning, cropping, and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) processing are performed locally on your device. We do not upload your personal documents, scanned images, or texts to our servers unless you explicitly use a cloud-backup feature provided by us.
2. Third-Party Services (If applicable)
We may use third-party SDKs for analytics or advertising:
Google AdMob / Firebase: To serve non-personalized/personalized ads and analyze app crashes. These services may collect Device Identifiers (e.g., GAID) under their own privacy policies.
3. Data Security & Encryption
We value your trust. Any data transmitted off-device (such as crash logs or analytics) is encrypted in transit using standard HTTPS protocols.
4. Data Deletion Rights
Since your documents are stored locally, deleting the application or clearing the application data via Android Settings will permanently delete all scanned files. If you have created an account with us, you can request account and data deletion directly within the app settings.
