No account. No sign-in. No personal information is collected by Fubo from you as an app user.

Saved favorites, watch history, event reminders, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

Fubo is built to help you search, discover, and follow sports-related content with confidence. We designed this app so you can browse live events, highlights, news, and documentaries — without creating an account, without signing in, and without sharing your personal contact details with us. Protecting your privacy is a core principle of this product.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following from you as an app user:

Your name

Your phone number

Your email address

Your home or mailing address

Your date of birth

Government identifiers (SSN, ID numbers, etc.)

Photos, contacts, or camera data

Precise GPS location

No sign-up, login, OTP verification, email verification, social login, or registration is ever required to use the app.

3. Information Stored On Your Device

To power your sports discovery experience, Fubo stores the following locally on your device only (Room database and DataStore preferences):

Saved favorites and bookmarked content

Watch history and recently viewed items

Event reminders you set for live matches

Download records for supported offline content

App settings (such as theme and language preferences)

This information is not uploaded to our servers and is not linked to your identity as an app user. Data you manage in the app remains on your device — we do not receive it as personal user profile data.

4. Local, On-Device Processing

Fubo is designed for local processing wherever possible. Core features — including favorites, watch history, event reminders, search filters, and settings — run on your device using locally stored data.

Your saved favorites and browsing history are not sent to our servers for storage or processing. You can view your bookmarked content offline after it has been saved locally.

An internet connection is needed to fetch live sports listings, event schedules, thumbnails, and when you choose to open official viewing links or external broadcaster pages in your browser.

5. Data Display and Sharing

Sports content shown in the app is fetched from publicly available sports information and authorized content sources. Favorites, watch history, and reminders are read from your device's local database.

If you share content using your device's standard share options, that sharing is handled by your device and the app you choose — we do not receive copies of shared content unless you explicitly send it to us.

When you tap "Watch Now", you are redirected to official or authorized broadcaster websites in your default browser. You are responsible for any information you submit on those external sites.

6. Advertising

Fubo displays advertisements through Google AdMob to help keep the app free to use. Ad formats may include banner ads and full-screen interstitial ads shown when you navigate between main sections.

Google and its advertising partners may collect and use information such as your device's advertising ID, approximate location (derived from IP address), app interactions with ads, and technical device data to deliver, measure, and improve ads. This data is handled according to Google's policies, not stored by us as a personal user profile.

You can limit ad personalization on your device through:

7. Third-Party Services

Fubo may fetch sports event information, schedules, and content metadata from third-party APIs to display search results, featured banners, and content details. These services may log standard technical requests (such as IP address) according to their own policies.

Google AdMob is used to serve advertisements. We do not send your favorites, watch history, or app preferences to third-party content providers. When you open an official streaming link or use any external link, that action is handled by the respective platform — not by Fubo collecting additional data from you.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. We do not operate our own analytics or cross-app tracking services within Fubo.

Advertising partners (such as Google AdMob) may use identifiers permitted by your device and Android settings to measure ad performance. We do not build personal profiles about you based on your in-app activity beyond what is required for ad delivery through AdMob. Third-party broadcaster or sports websites you visit through "Watch Now" may use their own cookies and tracking — please review their privacy policies separately.

9. Network and Permissions

The app requests only the permissions it needs to function:

Internet access — required for fetching sports content, schedules, and loading thumbnails

Network state — used to check connectivity before network requests

Notifications (optional) — used only if you enable event reminders on your device

We do not request access to contacts, camera, calendar, SMS, microphone, biometric authentication, or precise location. There is no sign-in or account permission prompt when you open the app.

Your locally saved favorites, history, and preferences remain on your device during normal app use.

10. Data Security

Because we do not collect personal information or account credentials from you as an app user, there is no personal login profile that can be compromised on our servers. Your favorites, watch history, event reminders, and preferences remain on your device unless you explicitly share content outside the app.

App preferences are stored using DataStore on your device. Favorites, history, reminders, and downloads are stored using Room Database. You can clear all locally stored data at any time through your device settings.

11. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for sports fans and general audiences exploring sports-related content. It is designed as a content discovery utility and does not require personal information from children or adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Because we do not collect identifying information about you as an app user, there is no personal account or profile to delete on our side. You can fully reset your app data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage:

Settings → Apps → Fubo → Storage → Clear storage

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored favorites, watch history, event reminders, download records, and app preferences from the app's private storage area.

13. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be available within the app on this screen. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
