If you want a dedicated, high-speed charging solution for your Sony headphones and portable speakers during long TV sessions, choose FTUINL 6FT; if you need a versatile adapter that lets you listen to high-fidelity audio on your phone or tablet while simultaneously fast-charging it, choose Criello Magnetic USB-C.
• FTUINL 6FT: Delivers rapid 20W charging for Sony audio gear with an extra-long 6.6-foot cord for comfort, but is strictly a charger without audio pass-through capabilities. Best for the Sony WH-1000XM4/5 owner who wants zero interruptions while binge-watching.
• Criello Magnetic USB-C: Offers a unique 2-in-1 design combining Hi-Res audio output with 60W PD fast charging for modern smartphones and laptops, though it requires a compatible USB-C device to function. Ideal for the mobile viewer who needs to keep their battery topped up while using wired headphones.
This cable-and-block combo is built specifically for the ecosystem of Sony wireless audio devices. If you own any of these specific devices, this is a precision tool designed to work with them flawlessly.
The standout feature here is the length. At approximately 6.6 feet (2 meters), this cable offers a significant advantage over standard short chargers. When you are settling in for a movie marathon or a gaming session on the couch, being tethered to a wall outlet can be restrictive. This length allows you to move freely across the living room, sit back on a recliner, or even stretch out on a bed without feeling pulled toward the power source. It solves the "cord too short" problem that plagues many compact travel chargers.
Performance-wise, the unit pushes a 20W power output. The specifications claim this delivers full-speed charging, capable of taking earbuds from 0% to 80% in roughly 30 minutes. That is a crucial detail for anyone who relies on their audio gear all day. Instead of waiting hours for a slow trickle charge, you get a quick top-up before heading out or between episodes. However, this product is a single-purpose tool. It does not transmit audio; it only provides electricity. If you are looking for a way to plug traditional 3.5mm headphones into a phone that lacks a jack, this is not the solution. It is purely for recharging your existing Sony hardware efficiently.
In contrast, the Criello Magnetic USB-C adapter is engineered for a completely different use case: bridging the gap between modern devices and legacy audio gear while maintaining power. This is a dual-port dongle that combines a USB-C input with both a 3.5mm headphone jack and a pass-through USB-C port for charging. It is designed for users who rely on iPhones, iPads, and Android flagships that have ditched the headphone jack entirely.

The most compelling aspect of this adapter is its ability to handle high-power demands alongside audio. It supports Power Delivery (PD) up to 60 watts. This means you can plug your device into a fast charger and continue to use wired headphones simultaneously without draining the battery rapidly. For someone watching TV or movies on a smartphone or tablet, this is a game-changer. You aren't forced to choose between listening in silence with wired headphones or letting your battery die while streaming.
Durability and build quality appear to be central to its design philosophy. The description mentions a braided nylon cable and an aluminum alloy casing, which suggests it is built to withstand the daily wear and tear of being tossed in a bag or left plugged in overnight. The magnetic connection is also highlighted as a key feature for durability, ensuring the cable stays securely attached rather than loosening over time. Furthermore, the audio specs mention support for 32-bit/384 kHz sampling rates, indicating a focus on Hi-Res audio fidelity. This makes it an excellent choice for audiophiles who refuse to compromise on sound quality just because they have lost their headphone jack. However, it is important to note that this is an adapter, not a standalone charger. You still need a separate USB-C power brick that supports PD to unlock the full 60W charging speed.
