Costumes & Props
The Theater Department may allow FTMA Capstone students to use their costumes and props for Capstone productions. This resource is only available to Capstone productions so please do not contact them for any other productions.
Costumes
If you would like to borrow costumes from the Fairfield Theater department email Julie Leavitt-Learson jlearson@fairfield.edu within a minimum of 2 weeks before your production. Include the following details:

Your production title
Dates costume(s) will be needed
A description of the costume(s) you are looking for. This should include the time period, color palate, degree of formality, season, etc.
Have a reasonably accurate set of measurements for the actor/s in question.
Have a specific "ask" list: "Is it possible to borrow a black leather jacket, size 40R?", "I'm looking for some 1920s flapper dresses in pastel colors. Can you help?" "am in desperate need of a white 10-gallon cowboy hat, for a guy whose head measures 23 1/2 inches." "Do you happen to have a green velvet Victorian cape?" etc.
Any costume that is borrowed must be laundered or dry-cleaned (the appropriate method will be specified upon reservation) before being returned. It is expected to be returned undamaged and unaltered (no cutting, dying, stains, tears, etc.). If a costume is returned dirty or damaged, a fee will be charged.
Return items in a timely manner (1-2 weeks after shooting).
While photos of available costumes are currently not available, if you include a description of what you are looking for, Julie will be on campus Monday and Thursday afternoons, and available then to find your requests.
