Inspired by Matthew 25:40, we serve families, seniors, and youth facing hardship by providing essential resources, advocacy, and pathways to stability.
Through our Collaborative Food Distribution Program, FTLOT provides groceries, frozen foods, hygiene products, household essentials, and other necessities to individuals and families experiencing hardship. We work with community distribution partners to reach seniors, college students, youth, low-income households, and people facing transportation barriers.
FTLOT connects individuals and families with trusted community organizations and available services based on their circumstances. Referrals may include food assistance, senior services, education-related support, emergency resources, and other programs that help households address immediate needs and work toward greater stability.
Our outreach efforts promote dignity, stability, and stronger community connections. Through senior outreach, youth and college student support, essential-needs distributions, and collaborative partnerships, we help reduce barriers that can prevent people from receiving timely assistance.
FTLOT continues to expand its community-based food and essential-needs assistance throughout Tallahassee and surrounding areas. In May 2026, we served 86 households representing 195 individuals. In June 2026, we served 110 households representing 211 individuals.
On July 6, 2026, our Collaborative Food Distribution Program delivered frozen chicken wings, peaches, milk, and yogurt to 17 households representing 33 individuals. This outreach included people experiencing transportation barriers who might otherwise have been unable to access available food assistance.
We serve individuals and families in Tallahassee and surrounding areas, with a priority focus on households experiencing food insecurity, financial strain, or emergency hardship.
