Flying into Malaysia
5 International gate into Malaysia via air, namely KL International Airport (KLIA) and KLIA2, Penang International Airport, Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Kuching International Airport and Langkawi International Airport. With KLIA as the main international hub for almost all travelers. the airport is approximately 50 km from Malaysia’s capital city, Kuala Lumpur. A good network of highways and expressways links KLIA to the rest of Peninsula Malaysia. The travelling time to UTeM is approximately 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
Getting to Melaka
The KLIA Bus Station is located at Ground Floor, Block C annex at Main Terminal Building which is about 3 minutes walking distance from arrival hall exit. To reach KLIA Bus Station, you can just follow the overhead signboard when you are at the KLIA Terminal.
On arrival at KLIA2, Walk to the transportation Hub. The level 1 of the Gateway@klia2 mall is the transportation hub. Exit from the Arrival Hall which is connected to level 2 of the Gateway@klia2 mall, just walk straight and follow the overhead signboards. At the Transportation Hub, you can easily find buses frequently travelling between the klia2 airport and the central Kuala Lumpur city and many other locations including Melaka.
