Here's a little history about Krak'N:
We are a team of aspiring, like-minded Middle schoolers from Boulan Park Middle School, Troy, Michigan, who
started participating in FIRST Tech Challenge back in 2021-22. We truly appreciate the opportunity and intent of the
program, which provides us the platform to become future leaders in STEM through solving
challenges while encouraging innovation, teamwork, and gracious professionalism.
Our first year, we came across a picture of an Octopus during our initial Team “Meet and Greet” session, and the name
“Krak'N” was suggested by one of the teammates. We unanimously fine-tuned it, and team Krak'N was
born- which means ‘Cracking the Technology / Undefeatable and Strong’ (which we strive to be).
Krak'N Robotics members are one of the Boulan Park Middle School FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics teams.
Our team:
Some of us have been doing robotics since 3rd grade and have been very interested in it for a long time. So whenwe heard about FTC, we were thoroughly excited and formed our team. We started a bit late in 2021-2022However, we were able to build a fully functioning robot on time. This was possible because we all utilized teamwork and shared a common interest in robotics. We didn't participate in the 2024-2025 season and are starting fresh this year with a new group of members. We are very excited for this season and eagerly awaiting its release! This will be the 4th year Krak'N plays in FTC!
