Synergistic Effect is a three-year-old FTC Robotics team from Collegiate School of Medicine and Bioscience in St. Louis, Missouri. The team is a collaborative effort between students freshman through Senior year. Our team consists of five departments, and each department works on a vital part of the final product. Art, coding, engineering, drive, and community outreach, the latter two being highly encouraged among our members!
Over the school year, our team members all work together to set up and participate in a variety of team building activities such bowling, roller skating, picnics and even more!
During meets, our members are heavily encouraged to volunteer and help out wherever needed.
In addition to community building and volunteering, we also do school fundraisers! Creating and selling a variety of items, both 3D printed and not, and All the profits go towards supporting the team.
Every school year, our team competes in the FTC competition, where teams from across the globe all compete in challenges to win a variety of awards for being the best team in both competition and in sportsmanship!
Our team strives to incorporate both competition and cooperation by upholding FTC's value of Gracious Professionalism; prioritizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and kindness!

Our engineering department is in charge of designing and constructing the robot in order to be functional and ready for the Programming department to code.
