About Us
Team 23587 is a robotics team competing in the FIRST® Tech Challenge for its 2nd year, starting in 2023. The team consists of people ranging from 6th to 8th grade from Will Carleton Middle School.

About First
FIRST® is an inclusive and team-based community about robotics that helps kids prepare for the future for ages 4-18 through afterschool or in-school programs. Global support, full of lots of things like sponsors with 200+ Fortune 500 companies, help teams conduct research, design, fundraise, build, and show achievements during annual challenges.

About FTC
The FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) is an advanced robotics competition, with students ranging from grades 6-8 in Michigan, and 7-12 in other areas. It involves having students design, build, and program robots to compete against other teams, potentially gaining awards. Robot kits are used to build the robots, and anything can be used to code the robots, including Java.
