Future Teachers Association

Future Teachers Association @ Stony Brook is a student-led organization that encourages aspiring educators to be a part of an informative and engaging club. Members can learn more about the educational field and gain new, valuable experiences for their career. 

From hands-on events, presentations, and community service efforts, FTA is designed to be a place where members are given the opportunity to network, collaborate, and participate in professional development to kick start their career. We welcome all future educators who are planning to work from a wide range of grade levels and a variety of subjects. Through all of our planned events we hope that members can learn tips to better their classrooms for their future students, and achieve a greater understanding of the education world!
