Research Ethics

I'm the Deputy Chair of the RMIT University Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC).

You may be interested in the Australian National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research, which provides guidelines for ethical research practice, including research quality, safety, and ethical acceptability.

Academic Board and Research Committee

I'm an elected Professorial member of the RMIT Academic Board, which is responsible for governance of all aspects of the University's academic mission, including monitoring and providing oversight of academic quality, standards and outcomes, academic and research integrity, innovation and risk, and academic freedom.

I'm also the Chair of the Academic Board's Research Committee, a standing committee that provides advice and support to the Academic Board on university research matters.
