We're so glad you came to protect our garden at our Plants Vs. Zombies RAKA Week! On Monday, we prepared with a social at Blaze Pizza. On Tuesday, we had a manhunt to take down all the zombies featuring DT and FOB. On Wednesday, we continued the celebration of our victory with a day of Sports. We saw amazing art and visuals at our annual Film Fest with Media. And finally, we held Pie An Officer!

Our next GBM of the semester is coming up next week, Nominations GBM! (March 12th at Global 101, Doors @ 5:30 PM)

In November, we had our very first Karaoke Night! People were also able to play some board games while listening to some awesome tunes. Thank you to everyone for coming out!
In addition, we also had our last GBM of the Fall Semester; Boodle Fight: Thanksgiving GBM! Members enjoyed delicious food such as tocino, longanisa, and garlic fried rice.
We also revealed our theme for this year's Sayaw at the GBM: Sayaw Network!

Did you find Blue's Clues at our first GBM of the Spring Semester? You might have been looking "Straight Up & Down" for the clues, but some people figured it out with some "Finesse"! We celebrated with Blue with a social at Jollibee!

Our collab GBM with CASA was a success! We hope you made new friends and new memories with Snoopy! Songs were deciphered, paper planes were flown, and friendship bracelets were made. Everyone was sure of a great time with a wonderful ending at Happy Lemon!

Throughout January, we have been fundraising with Philanthropy for Gawad Kalinga's Advancement in Reading and Learning (ARAL) program to help promote literacy and learning to students in the Philippines. In turn, we have raised enough money to fulfill all the Officer Dare Goals!

Our next GBM of the semester is coming up next week, You Got Rhythm? Valentine's GBM! (February 13th at Global 101, Doors @ 5:30 PM)
You can purchase a "harana", which is a traditional courtship serenade where a person will sing romantic songs outside the window of the person they are courting.
They can be performed by you and/or the officer board, with add-ons including solos, dances, and guitar accompaniment.
Pre-order a harana HERE! The form closes Sunday, February 11 at 11:59 PM.

After AKA week, we finally had our AKA Reveal GBM! Hosted by Timmy and Tommy, villagers gathered together to find out who their Ate, Kuya, or Adings were. Everyone enjoyed a social at Tan-Cha!

On October 21, Fresh Off The Beat won FIRST PLACE at Def Talent Jam XXXI for the third year in a row! Congratulations to the team, all of their hard work paid off!

After getting to know our pamilyas after AKA, there was an outbreak! All pamilyas reported to the quarantine zone (Halloween GBM) and enjoyed a costume contest, a game of Mafia, guess what's in the box, and guess how much candy is in the jar.

Our LAST GBM OF THE SEMESTER is this Tuesday, November 14 at 6:30 PM. Join us for a Boodle Fight ("army" style of eating) at our Thanksgiving GBM, a night of good vibes. We have a special surprise to show you! :D

We introduced our new officers for the year, played some fun activites, and enjoyed a social at Menchie's!

We also held our second GBM: Bayanihan Fiesta!
New friendships were made, as well as having fun activities such as cornhole, sipa, and more. As members won games, they were awarded tickets where they can redeem it for prizes, taho, and hot dog and marshmallow skewers. Members also enjoyed a yummy social at Ice & Bites!

Our dance troupe is getting ready for their performance at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on October 14th at 7 PM to perform for Filipino Veterans.
They will be performing Pandanggo sa Ilaw, Sayaw sa Bangko, and Tinikling, feel free to come out and support!

has put together a fun field day with a bunch of fun competitive games inspired by the Korean documentary, "Physical 100", like tug of war, piggy back races, and much more!
šµļøāāļø Tuesday (8/3): FOB will be hosting a scavenger hunt around the Reflection Pond from 5-7 PM! See what you can find!
š Wednesday (8/4): Our Dance Troupe will be hosting a Language and Tinikling Workshop from 4-6 PM with a partial proceeds social afterwards, so feel free to stop by if youāre interested in learning more about Filipino culture!
š„§ Thursday (8/5): Got a favorite officer in mind? From 12-4 PM you can pie an officer!

From June 18-30, Fresh Off The Beat hosted Create & Teach workshops! Attendees were taught choreography by various choreographers throughout the 13 days.

Our officers went on a retreat to Tampa on July 21-23 to connect and plan events for the Fall semester! (picture 2)

On August 18th, FSA, together with the Asian Student Association (ASA), the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE), and theĀ Vietnamese American Student Association (VASA) hosted a Pool Party social at the RWC Leisure Pool and enjoyed a social at Happy Lemon and Mochibae afterwards to cool down from the heat. FSA and the Indian Student Association (ISA) celebrated the start of the Fall semester with the annual Barbeque Social at Jay Blanchard Park on August 26. Attendees enjoyed grilled hot dogs, music, and fun activities! (photo creds: Cody Pecoreno; pictures 4-7)

We will be holding our FIRST GBM (General Body Meeting) OF THE YEAR on September 5th at the Global building, room 101! Doors open at 5:30 PM. Join us for activities, introduction into the new year, and performances from Dance Troupe and Fresh Off The Beat!
Afterwards, join our partial proceeds at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt for a social and meet new people. Make sure to mention "Filipino Student Association" at the counter!
