As you read the Reflection on Vocation Promotion, you’ll see in the "Understanding our Vocation" section, five aspects that are vital in understanding our vocation:

Witnessing to Peace and Justice
Prayer and Contemplation
Faithful Presence in the World.
These aspects will be the focus of the open forums.

St. Francis of Assisi

Please join us for this special gathering to learn more about how those in the everyday life can grow closer to Jesus by following the example of St. Francis of Assisi. St. Francis is known for living the Gospel Life, being a peace maker, loving everyone (including lepers), and having great reverence for God and all of creation. This free event is being sponsored by the St. Clare of Assisi Fraternity of the Secular Franciscans. We will begin with Mass in the Church at 9 AM and end with lunch around noon. Fr. Elias Mary, FI and members of the Secular Franciscan order will be the speakers.
