GUIDELINES FOR PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF EXTENDED ABSTRACTS

Preparation:

1. The word/character limit is 1000 (excluding references, tables, and figures)

2. The extended abstracts should have clearly defined sections as follows:

a) Title (Use Capitalize each content word format; to be in bold and centralized)

b) Introduction and Need

c) Aim and Objectives

d) Method (Study design, Participants and Ethics, Materials, Procedure, Data and Statistical Analysis)

e) Results and Discussion  

f) Summary and Conclusion  

g) References – Follow APA 7th Edition for referencing within the text and in the referencing section

3. Font: Times New Roman

4. Font size: 12

5. Double spacing  

6. Page numbers shall be included in the top right side

8. Uniformly American English

9. Write the full term for each abbreviation at its first use in the text separately unless it is a standard unit of measure. Numerals from 1 to 10 shall be spelt out

10. Numerals at the beginning of the sentence shall be spelt out

11. Check the manuscript for spelling, grammar and punctuation errors

12. If a brand name is cited, supply the manufacturer's name and address (city and state/ country).

13. Authors Name and their affiliation along with the title of the study shall be submitted in a separate document  

14. Plagiarism report shall be submitted. The similarity should be not be ≥20%

Submission:

· The last date for submission of extended abstracts is 31st July 2025 till 11 PM

· Abstracts submitted after this time line will not be accepted for presentation

· Abstracts in Microsoft Word and PDF shall be submitted through email to papersfrsm2025@aiishmysore.in
