Hello! I'm having a hard time finding some fun maps for playing with 2 of my friends. They always rely on me and now I am relying on you reddit! Help me with suggestions as Naruto Castle Defense or another funny maps preferably with anime. Also i cant host a certain amount of MB via Game Range, like complex and new maps and I am wondering why.

I think I just had and solved a similar problem. I would edit maps in the editor and then they wouldn't show up in game. Apparently, if you're running vista, you need to manually ensure that the world editor is started in "Run as Admin" compatibility mode otherwise any custom saves you make will not be recognized by the game, in game.

the first image is of the map I found on google after I edited it, the others pics are a map i quickly made from scratch. like I said before, you can find a lot more of your questions by opening the world editor and playing around with the map editor for yourself (its a good way to learn more about the game and custom maps).

Go into the Community Created Stuff thread above, and look for the maps created by angelroble. They're amazing. If the older links near the beginning of the thread don't work, keep reading - I think there are more recent links later. Unfortunately, he didn't complete Scarwall Castle (that I've been able to find), so for books 5 & 6 you'll have to use the AP's maps.

I made a ton of maps for this and downloaded even more. Some of these aren't my work but I'm going to throw them all into a google docs folder and share them. I believe that the majority of these were made by Angelrobe and I downloaded them for my game. I made maps for Scarwall but I never made maps for book 6.

Also, I'm very much an amateur. You can clearly tell the difference between my low rent maps and Angelrobe's work. :) Wow, you did amazing work! Thank you so much :DRe: the images from the CotCT PDFs, they're very low quality when I try to pull them over :/

So i recently came back to the game after May and was looking forward to enjoy some of my favorite custom maps only to find disappointment after updating to the latest patch which broke the game for me.

Now im only able to load maps made by blizzard and any custom map ends up with a error. This particular error is unique because it just shows you the error template with no text added to it. (Shows up the normal error window with the red mark and just a black background)

Starcraft 1.5: Fusion is a series of totally converted Warcraft III custom maps designed to feel and play exactly the same as Starcraft. The project currently has single player and multiplayer maps designed and based on the original and newest Starcraft games.

Now I am lucky that I had acquired a few years ago a very good trigger system that proper created the the Bunker system pretty much as I described it above and I have been usingthis system in the maps project since I think the version 3 maps pack series. The problem is I have known for a long time now that this system was a little buggy and I believe that for some unknown reason the spawned dummy units created to make the bunkers work like they do in Starcraft, weren't being removed once a player unloaded units from the bunker, giving Terran's a somewhat unbalanced base defence and I was determined to rid the new maps of this bug once and for all. I am happy to say after 2 days of trial and error with the trigger coding I managed to fix the system and it is now bug free and on top of that the system will also animate the new bunker models loading and unloading animation which Is really cool to see ingame.

One of the new resource model and skins from the Zanmgt Warcraft Vs Starcraft map which looks great and though I have added the new model into the maps I have yet to make a working trigger system so refinery's, extractors and assimilator's can be built on top of each geyser.

Another trigger system I have been working on is the (Zanmgt) Advance Build system from the Warcraft Vs Starcraft map and though I have been able to add the trigger into the new maps unfortunately the system is not working exactly right just yet:(. I have been able to get the Advance build button to bring up the higher tech buildings correctly but once its clicked the basic build button only displays the high tech buildings meaning you cant build lower tech buildings. I believe the key is the missing coding I deleted from the original trigger I transferred over which got messed up during the transfer process and so I had to basically guess what was suppose to be the correct trigger actions for those actions that got messed up. I plan to use a MPQ program to hopefully extra the custom script file which will have all of the correct coding lines so I can piece together what Im missing from this trigger system and fix the bug that's cause the problems.

Ok so it turns out the neo lost temple map I am editing since the project resurrection, is not the latest map which I release before I stopped working on the project a few years ago. I discovered it when The protoss console and stalker model were missing from the maps imported files and so this particular map must have been an early version of the v2.3.2 alpha map before I added the new Protoss console and stalker model and skin and so the maps Terrain layout is of the old lost temple map which I have now begun altering to look like the Starcraft II Lost Temple map from the old WOL battle report we all would have watched back before Starcraft II was close to pulic beta.

So at the moment the maps terrain editing is about 1/4 done. I have a very good overhead screenshot of the Lost temple map and im using that as a template to shape the islands and all the bases but its a big job and so I'll be working on it slowly hopefully making the map look better then it did in the latest version 2.3.2 I released a few years ago.

Recently I was asked by a fan if I would be interested in changing the name of my Starcraft maps project and at the time I was still very fond of my Starcraft 1.5 project name but the things have changed now and after thinking about the idea I have changed my mind about the rename and I think that with the project resurrection underway a new name would be a nice way to differentiate my project from other projects such as Project Revolution and Warcraft Vs Starcraft.

This one Im not to sure about but is differently a cross between Starcraft and Warcraft which is pretty much what my maps project is all about. I see this name as saying that the World of Azeroth is now the place for the war against the Terran, Zerg and Protoss because all the maps I have made have all looked very much like a Warcraft III map even if they are layed out like a Starcraft map.


Starcraft 1.5: Fusion (Offered by RandomPogi)The former name of RandomPogi's starcraft project where he was planning to add Starcraft 2 models and skins into warcraft III maps. He said the name means a fusion between Starcraft 1 and Starcraft 2 units which is very true for my maps project.

How are we all going? Well its been like 2 years since I did any work on my Starcraft maps project and that 2 year holiday break from making maps, I have been overseas and started working full time hours have enjoyed every minute of it.

As most of you know or should remember me saying on various sites that my maps project was completely lost in a graphics card failure which I stupidly formatted my main hard drive with everything I had worked on in the project, gone in seconds and the overwhelming headache of trying to resurrect the project from stretch was too much for me to deal with and so I basically left the maps in as they were in an unfinished state.

So fast forward to a week or so ago and while I was searching through so old files on my secondary hard drive (Which i used as a backup), What do you know, I found an unopened version of the Neo Lost Temple map which I could now edit and resurrect my maps project:). I have had a little play with the old maps just to see how well it fairs and there is plenty of work to be done but I am willing to try and improve the map further and I have already begun editing the old map and I have a few new ideas I would like to try out in the new map versions to make the maps more balanced and more fun to play.

I am lucky that since I've been away, a couple of skilled modellers have made some brilliant new Starcraft 2 models and skins for new units I will be adding to the maps project. The first one Ill be showcasing for this news article is the Terran Marauder model and skin created by Fingolfin, and it is an amazing model indeed. The model comes complete with a full Starcraft 2 animation set and a highly detailed skin which I can't wait to see in game.

I hope this news has made most of you all very happy and I am very excited to see what all these new additions and changes will create for the project. I would love to hear comments from as many people as possible about if they are still playing my maps and give me positive feedback to drive me to complete the new maps as soon as I can. ff782bc1db
