Facebook acts up in chrome, and wonder if anyone has the same issue. When typing, and this is only on facebook, it delays, and comments and messages I write show up 5-10 seconds after I type it. Only facebook, figured it was something with facebook, but works awesome on Opera and Edge. I removed all the extensions on chrome, and cleared cache/history. I logged off all my other facebook log ins (messenger on my phone for example), just can't figure it out.

I'm developing a Unity's cross-platform application (Win, macOS, Android, iOs) and I wanted to include a facebook login so users could sign up via Facebook. I've already been able to do it in Android and iOS platforms through the following link:

Same issue here as well, I have tried everything but I have lost hope, the problem is that my IP is rotating and I have to log in each time facebook might think my account is under attack! If anyone has a solution would be great!

I've uploaded the photo as it appears on my businesses facebook page. Note the discolouration on the concrete heads cheeks. Blurriness of the coloured pots and clock strap. I'm just not happy with it but what do you think? My competitors photos seem to be a little better

What am I doing wrong...I bought Affinity yesterday, edited my first photo and was going to put it on Facebook. I saved it to my desktop, went to face book, and when I drag it over, NOTHING. So then I went to insert button on Facebook and tried to import it into a post that way...the picture is grayed out (I cannot pic it) Do I need to save it differently, and if so, what steps do I need to take to have it an acceptable JPEG format for uploading to the net?

It doesn't appear that there has been any recent work on this package (last successful builds 4/20/14) and I don't use it so I can't speak to it's efficacy which might have changed since facebook decided to drop support for facebook messenger for Windows but there is an old article about it here. My search hasn't come up with anything more current for Ubuntu (Although there is the f8 app for Andrioid and IOS) it doesn't appear to be installable on Ubuntu.

My idea is to remove this forced feature from spotify. At the bare minimum make it opt-in only. When we first open the app, ask if we want to connect to Facebook in the pane, then have the pane go away if we decline. In the options have a setting for facebook login that will re-enable this pane if anyone wants to use it.

Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe I don't want to connect my facebook or I don't have one to begin with? Why is the side of my screen filled with a sidebar that tech support can't tell me how to get rid of when it isn't even something I want to do?

Why is it now obligatory to connect to effing facebook to see what the people I'm following on spotify is listening to!?!??!?!

WHY DO YOU HAVE TO IMPLEMENT SUCH STUPID FUNCTIONS SPOTIFY DEVS!!!!!?

Hi. Original poster here. I don't think Facebook pays to integrate with services. Additionally there are options available in the settings, as indicated in Xenia's answer, to control the visibility of the facebook panel. Please follow those instructions before judging Spotify for implementing a feature that some people find useful.

When designing your Facebook cover photo, you need to be careful because the cover image is displayed differently on mobile and desktop. Although, designing with safe zones in mind will get you a Facebook cover photo that will display properly on both devices.

With all that being said, we recommend using the Facebook cover photo size of ____________________________________________________________. This will ensure that none of the critical components of your cover photo are getting cut off on mobile devices or on desktop.

The perfect Facebook cover photo size goes a long way in helping you make a great first impression with new users. Your image look good when displayed on both mobile and desktop, without bizarre cropping or the image showing up off-center. Combining the perfect cover photo size with Facebook cover photo best practices can help you build the social presence and reputation that you want to create for your business.

To mc713: I have tried right clicking several times in several different places on facebook and nothing comes up. I understand what you are talking about as that is how I created short cuts on my old computer. Do you have any other suggestions?

The recommended Facebook cover photo size is 851 x 315 pixels for desktop and 640  360 pixels for mobile devices. The image must have a 16:9 aspect ratio, up to 100 kilobytes in size, and come in a PNG file format.

So, we advise you to place your images, graphics, and text in the safe area in the middle. This way, you avoid getting your cover cut on the sides for the mobile view and on top and bottom for the desktop view.

Use the recommended Facebook cover photo dimensions page to make sure it looks great on all devices. Test several different images to see how they fit, and only upload a picture that fits perfectly on both desktop and mobile.

Facebook cover photos are 851 pixels wide and 315 pixels tall for desktops, and 640 pixels wide by 360 pixels tall for mobile. The photo should be less than 100 kilobytes. If your uploaded image is smaller than these dimensions, Facebook will stretch it to fit, making it appear blurry.

Now more than ever, people are using technology to stay in touch with the people they care about, even when physically apart. Over the past month, we saw more than a 100% increase in people using their desktop browser for audio and video calling on Messenger. Now with apps for MacOS and Windows, the best of Messenger is coming to desktop, including unlimited and free group video calls.

Thanks, I deleted the plugin completely and just started the process from the facebook page and added the code directly to the site. Still does not work. I see it on desktop but not mobile. The FB page does not have any geo of age restrictions that would be an issue.

Once you've allowed microphone access to your apps, you can change the settings for each app. In Microphone settings, go to Choose which Microsoft apps can access your microphone, and turn on apps you want to use with it. For desktop apps, make sure that Allow desktop apps to access your microphone is turned on.

Previously, Facebook had only allowed Pages to stream from their desktop, not users, and only had limited gameplay streaming partnerships with game developers like Blizzard. There will now be a Live button on the desktop status update composer.

Facebook dark mode is a new look for the social network that replaces its usual bright, white interface with black and shades of gray for both desktop and mobile. Although that may not sound like a big deal, if you were one of the first to get Google Chrome dark mode, you likely already know the benefits it can bring.

You'll find Facebook dark mode super easy to activate across all of your devices, but just in case you need some instructions on how to do it, we've compiled some guidelines below for both desktop and mobile devices. Let's take a look...

Facebook rolled out a new design for its desktop site earlier this year, including an optional dark mode. It took a long time for the new design to be rolled out to everyone, but in October 2020, the process was finally complete. 5376163bf9
