Frost Roadways

June 2019

Welcome to the Spring 2019 edition of Frost Roadways! Our staff has worked hard to publish this edition. Thanks to all Frost's english and art teachers for collaborating with us to make this a great publication. Shout out to Mr. Duffy for being a guest contributor as a teacher submitting a short story. And as always, thanks to each and every student who submitted work.

Masks

A face is a mask

A mask in a sea

Your face can define you

But so can your mask

It all depends on your decision

Will you hide your true self?

Or will you walk free?

Only time will tell.

by Anderson S.

Faces of Me

This face has been through a lot

from tears to rain

to cuts and pain

it's not the same.

It's bold and deep,

but scared and meek.

It changes at times,

Like never before.

This face has dreams,

like everyone else,

it loves to have fun,

but not with itself

It ponders life

day and night

This face is me

And I'm alright
