ABOUT FRONTLINE PATHFINDER
Frontline Pathfinder is an independent game research and guide team founded in early 2026 by dedicated players and technical creators. We focus on demanding puzzle games, tactical survival experiences, atmospheric horror, and narrative-driven indie titles where accurate information can make the difference between steady progress and hours of unnecessary repetition.
Our work starts with play. We test routes, revisit chapters, compare outcomes, check update notes, and separate verified facts from interpretation. The goal is not to produce the largest number of pages. It is to create references that players can trust when a password, missable event, map route, achievement condition, or progression choice becomes unclear.
WHAT WE DO
Beginner guides that explain the first hour without removing the sense of discovery
Route checks for quests, chapters, maps, and branching objectives
Character, enemy, item, crafting, and achievement references
Map topology research and practical navigation notes
Version tracking after patches, hotfixes, and major content updates
English-to-local-language research and terminology checks
Editorial review that separates official information, in-game verification, and informed analysis
OUR RESEARCH STANDARD
Experience-driven verification
Every important claim should be checked through direct play, official material, or repeatable evidence. We do not treat repeated online claims as proof. When a detail cannot be fully verified, we label it clearly instead of presenting it as settled fact.
Structured delivery
Players often arrive with one urgent question. Our Quick Answer, Route Check, checklist, and progression-tree formats help them reach the answer quickly, while deeper sections preserve context for readers who want to understand the full system.
Player-first editing
A useful guide should reduce confusion, not create more of it. We prioritize readable structure, clear terminology, relevant screenshots, and practical examples. We avoid filler, exaggerated promises, and pages whose only purpose is to target a keyword.
Version awareness
Live games change. A correct answer can become outdated after one patch. Our team compares update notes with in-game behavior and revisits high-impact pages when mechanics, maps, objectives, or item values change.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Game research and QA
We investigate route conditions, hidden branches, missable content, map dead ends, puzzle logic, item behavior, and achievement triggers.
Map and navigation systems
We study spatial relationships and turn scattered location notes into usable route plans, interactive references, and clear map explanations.
Editorial architecture
We design content around player intent: what a new player needs first, what a returning player needs after an update, and what a completionist needs before a point of no return.
Frontend and interactive tools
The team develops browser-based maps, calculators, and navigation tools that make dense game data easier to search and use.
FEATURED PROJECTS
THE FREAK CIRCUS
A focused reference for a psychological horror visual novel, with attention to characters, routes, story context, and the details that shape different readings of the game.
ESCAPE THE BACKROOMS
A research-driven guide network for levels, maps, codes, entities, survival routes, and update-sensitive multiplayer progression.
https://escapethebackrooms.org/
YAPYAP
A practical guide for the voice-driven cooperative game, covering spells, puzzles, roles, teamwork, and the communication problems that often cause a run to fail.
ANIIMO
A player reference for a creature-collection RPG, organized around creatures, teams, maps, progression systems, and future updates.
SCRAP MECHANIC
A guide and tool project for builders and survival players, including crafting systems, raids, builds, calculators, and version-aware gameplay references.
TEAM
bombit Lead Researcher and Systems Architect
A frontend engineer, independent game-map researcher, and experienced survival-horror player. The role combines route testing, map topology analysis, content architecture, and the development of interactive navigation tools.
Editorial and QA Group
Three core players and puzzle enthusiasts support verification, dead-end checks, update comparisons, and map calibration. Their job is to challenge assumptions, reproduce results, and keep instructions aligned with current game behavior.
HOW A GUIDE IS BUILT
Define the exact player problem and the version being tested.
2. Gather official information and identify details that require in-game confirmation.
3. Test the route, mechanic, puzzle, or condition more than once where possible.
4. Record exceptions, failure states, and points of uncertainty.
5. Choose the clearest format: quick answer, walkthrough, table, map, checklist, or interactive tool.
6. Review the page for accuracy, readability, and unnecessary spoilers.
7. Recheck the content after relevant patches or community reports.
OUR DIRECTION
Frontline Pathfinder is building a network of focused game references rather than a single general-purpose portal. Each project is shaped around the needs of one game and its players. Some titles need detailed maps. Others need careful story routing, compact puzzle answers, team-building data, or update tracking.
The common standard is simple: useful information, tested carefully, presented clearly, and maintained with respect for the player's time.
