Overview
Frondmark Atlas is a personal plant record application. It lets you save plant profiles, photos, care notes, watering history, journal entries, and health ratings on your device. This policy explains how the app handles information based on the current source code.
Information We Collect
The app stores information you enter, including plant names, planted dates, soil type, light requirement, notes, health ratings, watering intervals, watering logs, journal entries, and selected photo file paths. Photos selected from your device may be copied or referenced locally for display inside the app.
The app also uses Google Play Billing for voluntary contribution purchases. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play.
Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect
The app does not include an account system, authentication, cloud sync, analytics SDK, ads SDK, crash reporting SDK, location access, microphone access, contacts access, or camera capture flow in the inspected source code. It does not intentionally collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, microphone audio, or account credentials.
How We Use Information
Information stored in the app is used to display your plant records, calculate care readouts, show watering history, present charts, and keep your personal plant reference available on your device. Contribution purchase information is used only to process voluntary support through Google Play Billing.
Data Sharing
The app does not share your plant records with a developer server in the inspected source code. Google Play Billing may process purchase-related information according to Google's policies. The Privacy Policy screen opens a Google Sites URL in a WebView, which requires internet access.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Google Play Billing for voluntary in-app purchases and Google Sites/WebView to display the privacy policy. It also uses platform image selection through the image picker package. These services may process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Data Storage and Security
Plant records are stored locally using Hive boxes on your device. The app also stores or references local image file paths for selected plant photos. The inspected source code does not implement custom encryption or cloud backup. Protecting access to your device helps protect your app data.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your records remain on your device until you edit them, delete individual plants, use the Delete All Data action, uninstall the app, or clear app data through your operating system. There is no account deletion process because the inspected source code does not include accounts.
Children’s Privacy
Frondmark Atlas is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly request personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes a child has entered information into the app, they can delete the data from the device.
User Choices
You can choose what plant details and photos to add. You can edit or delete plant records in the app. You can avoid voluntary contributions; purchases do not unlock additional features or content.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when app behavior, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when changes are made.
