Participants should travel to Natal International Airport (NAT – Governador Aluízio Alves Airport), which is the main gateway to the city.
Natal is connected by regular domestic flights from major Brazilian cities such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasília. International participants typically arrive via these hubs. From the airport to the IIP (located at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte – UFRN campus), the travel time is approximately 40–60 minutes by car.
Taxi or ride-hailing services (e.g., Uber): recommended option; widely available at the airport.
Airport shuttle services: may be available depending on the time of arrival.
Public buses connect the airport to downtown Natal, but routes to the university campus may require transfers and longer travel times. For convenience, taxis or ride-hailing services are strongly recommended, especially for first-time visitors.
Participants arriving by long-distance bus will reach the Natal Bus Terminal (Rodoviária de Natal). From there, the IIP is about 20–30 minutes by taxi or ride-hailing service.
