ノヴァスコシアとは、新しいスコットランドという意味です。ノヴァスコシア州はカナダの東海岸に位置し、その州都であるハリファックスへはニューワークから飛行機で約２時間、シカゴからは約３時間、トロントからは約２時間のところにあります。

ノヴァスコシアのいいところは、時間がゆっくり流れ、美しい自然に囲まれ、空気がきれいだということだと私は思っています。また、ここに住む人々はとても親しみやすく、親切だと思います。

このウェブサイトは、ノヴァスコシア州の州都であるハリファックスに２０年以上住んでいる一人の日本人の目線から捉えたもので様々な角度からは見ていないかもしれませんが、その点はご了承くださいませ。

I am introducing Nova Scotia a bit by bit when I have a time. Hope you enjoy it! Nova Scotia Means "New Scotland". It is located in the east cost of Canada, and to come to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia, it takes about two hours from Newark, three hours from Chicago, and two hours from Toronto by air plane.

I think that the best things about Nova Scotia is that the time goes by slowly, being surrounded by beautiful nature with clean air. Also, people who live here are very friendly and kind.

This website is created from the view of a Japanese person who lives in Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia, for more than 20 years, and may not be captured by various views, so I would appreciate your understanding on it.
