Bioinformatics Software Developer, Wolfram
Bioinformatics Software Developer, Wolfram
Welcome to my website! I am a bioinformatics software developer at Wolfram, where I design and build tools that use computation to gather insights from large biological datasets. My work combines software development, analyzing and benchmarking AI models, data integration using APIs, and large-scale biological analysis to support both researchers and educators.Â
Prior to Wolfram, I was at Purdue University where I completed my Ph.D. with Dr. Andrew Mugler in physics doing research in mathematical and computational modeling of migration in cancer cells and bacteria.Â
During my time at Wolfram, I developed the ProteinVisualization paclet, a comprehensive software package that utilizes the power of visualization to study the fascinating world of biomolecules.
Besides work, I enjoy cooking, traveling, science communication and merging my passion for art with biology!
Connect with me on LinkedIn where I regularly post about my work!
Proteins, omics and networks
Three of the most important projects I worked on or mentored during my time at Wolfram include developing a software package for protein structure analysis and visualization, integrating transcriptomic data from the Human Protein Atlas, and mentoring high school students on analyzing the Human Protein Interaction Network.
