Frequently asked questions:
Is this a religious retreat?
No- this retreat is aligned with AA principles, and will focus on recovery from alcoholism from the Alcoholics Anonymous program.
Can I smoke/vape while I'm there?
Yes- you may smoke or vape in designated smoking areas outside. Please be respectful of the retreat space and do not smoke/vape inside.
Can I bring snacks?
Yes- you may bring non-perishable snacks, but please throw out any trash you make, and clean up after yourself.
What meals are included?
Thursday- heavy snacks and unlimited coffee and tea. Please plan to eat dinner before you arrive.
Friday- breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and unlimited coffee and tea.
Saturday- breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and unlimited coffee and tea.
Sunday- breakfast, snack, and unlimited coffee and tea.
Why are phones discouraged?
Phone use is discouraged throughout the weekend for many reasons. The goal is to enlarge your spiritual life, and we have found that being on your phone can distract you from that. Additionally, we want to ensure no ones anonymity gets broken with pictures and names posted to social media from the retreat.
