I have worked in the Information Technology environment for many years, but have been involved in counselling and ministering to hurting individuals for just as long. After many years, I have felt called to offer a Christian counselling service to all in need. Having been through divorce myself, and receiving healing through the DivorceCare program, I began to facilitate the program at my home church, reaching many hurting individuals.

As part of that journey, I realized that much of the pain of divorce comes from the litigation process, which pits former partners against each other. I trained as a family and divorce mediator, which gives partners the opportunity to discuss what the divorce will look like, and also takes into account the needs of children involved. Without condoning divorce, I understand that it is sometimes a couple’s preferred option, which can be done with the least emotional impact through mediation. I am a NABFAM accredited family and divorce mediator through the South African Association of Mediators (SAAM).

As well as earning a BTh degree from UNISA, I have completed both the Higher Certificate in Christian Counselling and BTh(Hons)(Christian Counselling) cum laude through South African Theological Seminary (SATS). I  am affiliated to the Council of Pastoral and Spiritual Counsellors (CPSC).

My passion is towards helping those with relationship concerns, whether starting out or in long-standing relationships. 

The approach taken is to journey alongside those who come to me. Together we seek to understand the causes of pain, and find the inner resources that we have to move towards healing and step forward renewed and in harmony with ourselves and our faith.
