About
From the Valley
We have two main goals with this project: to inspire more young people to pursue the arts and to cultivate a stronger community centered around art! We want to make a safe space to showcase the youth in this area's art, and a way for the youth to connect over a common interest.
The Founders
Ava is in her junior year at Amherst Regional High School. She has always been involved with visual arts since she made her acting debut in her father's short film "Action Ava." Now, you can find her playing with the settings in After Effects while supposedly assisting her teacher's Video 1 class or trying to get the long exposure on her digital camera just right. Aside from such arts, she also spends her time playing the drumz, training in the honorable art of Shaolin Kung Fu, or drinking too much Baja Blast.
Serena is in her junior year at Pioneer Valley Performing Arts. She has had many artistic ventures, from dancing and choreographing in the WOFA and Hatchery dance companies to crocheting in quiet corners of her room. She also has dabbled in playing pretend, taking on roles in Hadestown, Little Women, and The Children’s Hour. If you are looking for Serena, she recommends the first places you check are the nooks and crannies of Northampton, thrift stores throughout the valley, bodies of water, and well-lit fields.
