Phil-ARCO
Philosophy of artificial companionship
We seek to channel the impact of technology on society, addressing the human-robot interaction within the framework-values of inclusivity, equality, social acceptance, responsible and sustainable innovation.
Our philosophical approach is multi-faceted. We are especially invested in research projects at the intersection of philosophy and biorobotics.
The phil-ARCO research group aims to provide the critical tools for shaping a positive and transformative impact on future technological developments.
The key value we propose is that of human-robot companionship, a form of hybrid relationship between human beings and emerging technologies that reflects synergistic analysis at the bio-engineering, philosophical, and social levels.
