A 2.5-Hours Workshop
Date & Time: Wednesday, December 3, 4:15 PM - 7:00 PM
Location: Treehouse, Bella Center Copenhagen
With the EurIPS AI Research Entrepreneurs Network affinity group
The journey from research to building a product and a business is exciting, impactful, and filled with unique challenges for technical founders - as it is for everyone. This 2-hour interactive workshop is designed specifically both for AI researchers - from PhD students to experienced researchers in the EurIPS community - who are interested in learning how to translate research, whether their own or that of the broader community, into successful startups, and for those already in the early stages of building an AI startup.
We bridge the critical gap between research and market entry by splitting the content into two essential sections: Business Fundamentals (focusing on idea validation, product development, team formation, and pitching from a VC/investor perspective) and Product and Technical Engineering (covering the rapid, non-ML deployment of production-grade AI prototypes).
Participants will engage with actionable frameworks, essential knowledge what it takes to building a startup, and practical exposure to the full-stack infrastructure required to transform research into a robust, deployed product. We will analyze real-world examples and provide a comprehensive view of the modern AI startups landscape.
