The Prints

To explore the ways in which frogs have been used in serigraph prints, two frameworks are particularly useful:

• Artistic Depiction: the selected works exhibit a range of colours, styles, and designs from different artists, eras, and cultural groups.
• Symbolic Interpretation: the concerns of each print illustrate how frogs are used to address diverse topics.

While each print explores multiple themes and ideas, some general categories are useful to organize the prints:

• Nature
