FriMap:Real-time GPS Membership Service Agreement
**Terms and Conditions:** Welcome to FriMap:Real-time GPS! This agreement is between you and the FriMap:Real-time GPS platform (hereinafter referred to as "we") regarding the use of the "FriMap:Real-time GPS" membership service. Please read this agreement carefully, as these terms may involve your significant rights. If you are under 18 years of age, please read it under the supervision of your legal guardian.
I. General Provisions and Account Management
Acceptance of Agreement: By clicking to register or use this APP service, you are deemed to have read, understood, and fully accepted all contents of this agreement.
Account Registration: You must provide true, accurate, and legal personal information to register a membership account. You are obligated to properly safeguard your account and password; you shall bear the risk of leakage due to improper account safeguarding.
User Qualifications: You understand and agree that the use of this APP for location sharing and family group management must be based on a close relationship of kinship or authorized by the user.
II. Service Content and Usage Rules
We offer you the following membership services, and you should abide by the corresponding rules when using them:
Real-time Location Sharing Service: After you authorize and enable your phone's GPS location function, the app will display your real-time latitude and longitude information on the family group map. You have the right to pause or turn off this sharing function at any time in the privacy settings.
Family Group Management: You can create or join a family group using an invitation code (as shown in the screenshot). You acknowledge and agree that after you join the group, other members in the group will be able to see your location information shared in "Real-time Location Updates" and "Historical Tracks".
Track History Playback: The app will save your location trajectory for a certain period of time (default 30 days, depending on membership level) for members to review.
SOS Emergency Assistance Function: When you encounter danger, click the SOS button with one click, and the system will immediately send your real-time location and emergency alert notification to all members of your family group, and will also dial the preset emergency contact number.
III. Membership Subscription Fees, Free Trial, and Auto-Renewal Rules
Pricing: This app offers two paid subscription options:
Weekly Membership Subscription: $19.99 USD (subject to your region and the actual USD amount displayed on the payment page).
Annual Membership Subscription: $99.99 USD (subject to your region and the actual USD amount displayed on the payment page).
Free Trial: For first-time subscribers of the weekly membership package, we offer a 3-day free trial. After confirming your purchase and activating the trial within the app, you can experience all membership features for free for 3 days. Please note: Within 24 hours before the trial period expires, the system will automatically deduct the weekly membership price ($19.99 USD) from your payment account to continue your membership service.
Auto-Renewal Rules: Your purchased weekly/annual membership service is an auto-renewal service. Within 24 hours before the expiration of each subscription period (week/year), the system will automatically deduct the corresponding fee for the next period from your linked payment account.
Cancellation and Refund:
You have the right to cancel auto-renewal at any time. To cancel, please manually turn off auto-renewal in your payment channel account settings (such as Apple App Store subscription management, Google Play subscription management, WeChat or Alipay password-free payment settings) at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. After cancellation, the service purchased but not yet used within the period will still be available until the end of the period, and no further charges will be incurred for the next period.
Digital virtual goods (membership subscription services) are non-refundable once sold, except in special refund circumstances permitted by laws and regulations or by the third-party payment platform itself.
IV. User Obligations and Prohibited Behaviors
Abuse of the SOS function is strictly prohibited: The SOS one-click help function is an emergency function. You promise not to maliciously trigger the SOS alarm in non-emergency and non-dangerous situations. For malicious use of this function to harass other members of the family group, we have the right to suspend or permanently ban your account and reserve the right to pursue legal responsibility.
Information Legality and Privacy Obligations: You must not use this APP to illegally monitor family members or infringe on the privacy of others. You must ensure that you have obtained explicit authorization from the person being located. You are solely responsible for any legal disputes arising from your unauthorized use, and the platform bears no responsibility.
Prohibited Activities: You may not use our services for any illegal activities (such as stalking, harassment, or illegal intelligence theft), and you may not attack or damage the APP system through reverse engineering, web crawling, or other means.
V. Privacy and Data Protection (Key Terms)
We attach great importance to the security of your personal information. Please refer to the FriMap Privacy Policy for specific privacy protection measures.
Data Collection and Authorization: We only collect information necessary to provide the service (such as mobile phone number, unique device identifier, real-time geographic location coordinates, historical movement trajectory, etc.).
Data Use and Disclosure: We promise not to sell or illegally share your personal location information to any third party. We may provide your information only in the following circumstances: (1) as required by laws and regulations; (2) to protect your or others' life and property safety (such as cooperating with police rescue); (3) with your explicit and separate consent. VI. Disclaimer and Risk Warning
Location Signal Error: Due to the influence of weather, building obstruction, and mobile phone hardware on GPS signals, location information may be inaccurate (e.g., the "2.3 km/h" and direction shown in the screenshot are estimates only). The location information displayed on FriMap is for reference only; we cannot guarantee its absolute accuracy and it should not be used as the sole basis for your decision-making.
Emergency Assistance Service Disclaimer: The SOS emergency assistance function is an auxiliary rescue tool and not an official emergency police or medical service platform. Using this function may involve risks such as network latency, system failure, or terminal unresponsiveness. In the event of a serious threat to life safety, please be sure to dial the local emergency number immediately. We strive to ensure system operation, but we are not legally liable for any personal injury or property damage caused by SOS triggering failure or delay.
Third-Party Services: Some functions in the APP may rely on third-party map, SMS, or push services. We will repair any malfunctions caused by the interruption of third-party services as soon as possible, but this cannot absolve the third party of their own liability.
VII. Intellectual Property and Ownership
All intellectual property rights of FriMap:Real-time GPS, including its logo, UI design, software code, and interface text, belong to our company. You may not copy, modify, publish, or distribute the APP without our written permission.
VIII. Amendment and Termination of Agreement
Amendment: We reserve the right to amend this agreement as needed based on business development. The amended agreement will be prominently displayed within the APP. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the amendments.
Termination of Service: If you violate any terms of this agreement, we reserve the right to terminate your membership and delete related data immediately without notice. You may also cancel your account in your settings. After cancellation, we will delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with the law.
