Franziska Riepl

About me

I am a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). Within the Establishments and Employment unit, I coordinate the "GigEconomy" project on working conditions in platform-based employment, sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

I completed my PhD at the Graduate School of Economics, Finance and Management (GSEFM) at Goethe University Frankfurt under the supervision of Prof. Nicola Fuchs-Schündeln. 

I am a former research fellow and current guest researcher at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB). I have also worked as a research intern at the International Labour Organization (ILO) and am an alumni of the Frankfurt Quantitative Macro Group (FQMG).
