The Friends of the Chaska Library is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that increases the use of the Chaska Library through public awareness and educational programming, advocates for strong public funding of the library, and provides funding to enhance the services at the Chaska Library.
Our Mission Statement: People serving people by expanding and strengthening the services of the Chaska Community Library.
Promote an understanding of Chaska Library, its needs and resources.
Encourage gifts and bequests to be used for improving the Chaska Library building and its collections.
Provide funds for special purchases.
Offer special programs.
Our meetings are held on the second Saturday of the Month in January, March, May, July, September, and November from 9-10am near the fireplace in the Chaska Library.
We welcome everyone to join us at our meetings.
We rely on Volunteers to help promote the Chaska Library, run our Book Sale, and contribute for special events.
We host multiple events and programs each year at the Chaska Library with funding from the donations we receive.
