GRUETZMACHER PARK

In 2025-2026, excitement is building as final preparations are underway for the construction of Gruetzmacher Park on Bean City Rd. This 47-acre park will be situated on land generously donated by the Ivan and Jeanette Gruetzmacher Family. The development of Gruetzmacher Park is a tremendous opportunity for the Town of Caledonia! READFIELD PARK

Readfield Park, located next to Readfield Elementary School, is the hub of life in the Town of Caledonia hosting DMR Softball and community events. Exciting improvements have been completed over the past few years improving what the park has to offer: an outdoor restroom, a half-mile walking/biking trail around the perimeter of the park and school, a playground expansion, a storage building, and new landscaping. 

PIER

In 2024, a new pier was added at the end of Rawhide Rd. This new park offers water access, a fishing pier, and picnic tables. The pier serves an important role in protecting the dry hydrant pipes that are located below the pier.
