Friends of Readfield Park
SUPPORTING THE CALEDONIA PARK SYSTEM
Friends of Readfield Park is a 501(c)3 that works with the Town of Caledonia to enhance the community park system.
Readfield Park, located next to Readfield Elementary School, is the hub of life in the Town of Caledonia hosting DMR Softball and community events. Readfield Park has exciting improvements that have been completed over the past few years improving what the park has to offer: an outdoor restroom, a half-mile walking/biking trail around the perimeter of the park and school, a playground expansion, a storage building, and new landscaping.
In 2024, a new park was added at the end of Rawhide Rd. This new park offers water access, a fishing pier, and picnic tables.
In 2025-2026, the Town of Caledonia will build out Gruetzmacher Park on Bean City Rd. This 47-acre park will contain multi-use trails, a sledding hill, pavilion, playground, and pickleball courts.
The Town of Caledonia is committed to funding park improvements without the use of tax dollars, making Friends of Readfield Park essential in the process.
Friends of Readfield Park is a non-profit group of volunteers. If you're interested in joining, please attend a Friends of Readfield Park meeting listed on our Facebook Page.
Friends of Readfield Park is located in the town of Caledonia, in Waupaca County, WI.
